The Van Gorp excavating crew specializes in agricultural work and excavating for new agricultural and residential builds. All crew members have extensive experience in barn excavation including dairy, cattle, pig, and poultry as well as the construction of berms to direct runoff to appropriate watercourses and control water flow around buildings.

Van Gorp Drainage and Excavating crews have been installing and repairing rural residential septic systems for more than 20 years. When installing new systems, the crew foreman conducts a site evaluation and works closely with the customer and local engineers to determine system requirements and guarantee satisfaction. Once the system is planned, it is presented to the customer and submitted to local regulators for approval. Van Gorp septic systems always meet all licensing requirements for design and installation.

Horizontal Directional Drilling

Directional drilling is the preferred method of crossing for reduced environmental impact on surrounding landscapes. The process eliminates open cutting and disruption of established ecosystems and construction. The directional drilling crew typically drills under roadways, waterways or railways. The Van Gorp drilling crew specializes in municipal drain, water-main, sanitary or manure line expansion or irrigation line installation work. The company installs 9 to 48 inch diameter steel casing pipe at depths between one and 10 metres.
